If you’re a fan of mouthwatering BBQ, Fenous Restaurant is an absolute must-visit. From the moment we walked in, the warm, smoky aroma set the stage for a fantastic dining experience. The staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure everything was perfect from start to finish. We tried a variety of dishes, including the brisket, ribs, and smoked chicken, and each one was cooked to perfection — tender, flavorful, and packed with that rich, slow-smoked taste BBQ lovers crave. The sides were just as impressive: the mac and cheese was creamy and comforting, and the cornbread had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The atmosphere at Fenous is relaxed and inviting, making it a great spot for casual dinners, family outings, or even a laid-back date night. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes — you definitely get your money’s worth. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates top-notch BBQ and great service. I’ll definitely be back for more!

We visited on 25th December, and as expected it was very busy. However, we were greeted warmly and seated very quickly. There were lots of options to choose from and the prices were very reasonable. We opted for the mixed grill and the chicken fantastic, with sides of vegetables and battata harra, and also decided to try a few of their mocktails. The food did not disappoint, everything was beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The chicken fantastic was, quite literally, fantastic. It felt like good, clean food that was prepared with care. From start to finish, the staff were attentive without being overbearing. They were polite, friendly, and welcoming. Despite how busy it was, the atmosphere remained calm, and with no loud music playing, we were able to enjoy a normal conversation without shouting. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant and will definitely be returning. A great, family friendly place to dine.

Up until the day I’d actually had a meal there I’d heard a great deal of positive things about Fenous Grill/ Restaurant. Situated at the less busier end of Coventry Road and has free parking for about 10-15 cars, I would say, it almost has a deceptive appearance. As you enter it’s clean appealing and with its minimalistic African/ Middle Eastern decor, one certainly feels welcomed and attracted. We were warmly welcomed by a staff member and shown to our table. Now about the food. The food was cooked to perfection and what we all loved the most was the size of the portions. Amazingly generous so there was plenty to dig into and share. When I asked one of the staff he confirmed that the food had Somali and Middle Eastern influences. Which was evident in texture and taste. We were a largish party 13 so we ordered two large mixed platters which included Lamb Chops,Chicken Mashwii, Lahm Mashwii, Lamb Kofta, Chicken Kofta, Wings, Shiish Taouk and Shawarma served all served on a bed of seasoned fluffy basmati rice. If you ever visit with 4-5 people just forget everything else, this dish is the perfect meal. A friend of mine had the Grilled Salmon with seasoned rice. He said it was slightly overcooked and dry and could have done with some sauce or some ghee or butter spread over the fish. All in all a pleasant experience and meal with attentive service to match. Most definitely worth a visit, I think you won’t be disappointed.

We were a party of 14 people, we were seated in short time, service was great, it took the food some time to come but it was a bank holiday with lots of orders. It was completely worth the wait. Food was great, not a single dish we didn’t like. Mezza platter is a must, Chicken mashwi, lamb chops, falafel wraps and chicken wings all were great. Will be definitely coming back.

Had a lovely meal at Fenous, thank you to Hasaan who was our waiter, he was attentive and took good care of us. We had the halloumi starter, taouk chicken, chicken kofta, red pasta, rice and brownies for dessert, everything tasted very nice and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended.
